Hello World,

my next journey will be start on july 18. to the border of Armenia/ Turkey and Iran to the biblical mountain Ararat.

Mount Ararat  is the tallest peak in east Turkey.  This snow-capped, dormant volcanic cone is located in the Iğdır Province, near the northeast corner of Turkey, 16 km (10 mi) west of the Iranian and 32 km (20 mi) south of the Armenian border.

The Turkish government requires a climbing permit and use of a certified Turkish guide. ( www.dr-koch-reisen.de )
